What is Near?

Near is a free app for finding what’s happening around you. Open the map to see events, plans and people nearby, join local communities, and host your own plans, from a five-a-side game to a house party.

Is joining events safe?

Yes. Everyone on Near is face verified in the app, so nobody can fake a profile or join anonymously.

Can I create female-only events?

Yes. When you create an event, set who can join to Females and only women will be able to join it.

Can communities monetize their events?

Yes. Anyone on Near, including communities, will be able to monetize their events. Paid events are coming soon.

Is Near free?

Yes. Near is free to download on Google Play for Android. The iPhone app is coming soon.
